1. The service
Eduspal helps educators run a school or educational centre. Owners can create a school and invite teachers, students and parents or guardians, then manage classes, schedules, assignments, results and notifications.
2. Who can use Eduspal
You must be at least 18 years old to create a school or use Eduspal on your own. Users under 18 may use Eduspal only when invited by a school and with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and devices secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including when you use Google sign-in or biometric sign-in.
- Tell us straight away at support@ginimeg.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- Accounts are personal. Do not share your account or create one for someone else without permission.
4. Schools, roles and invitations
- If you create a school, you are its owner. You are responsible for who you invite, the roles you give them and the information you and your members add to the school.
- You confirm you have the right to add information about students and other members, including any consent required from parents or guardians.
- School owners and administrators can change members' roles or remove them. What you can see and do depends on the role your school gives you.
- Each school is responsible for its own teaching, assessments and decisions. Ginimeg does not provide educational services and is not responsible for a school's content or conduct.
5. Acceptable use
When using Eduspal, you must not:
- break the law or help anyone else do so;
- harass, bully, threaten or harm anyone, especially students and children;
- upload content that is unlawful, abusive, sexually explicit, hateful or that you have no right to share;
- access accounts, schools or data you are not permitted to access;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with Eduspal, or use automated tools to scrape it;
- send spam or use invitations to contact people who did not ask to join.
6. Your content
You and your school own the content you add to Eduspal, such as schedules, assignments, answers and results. You give Ginimeg permission to store, copy, display and process that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve Eduspal for you and your school.
You are responsible for your content. We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms or the law.
7. Notifications and messages
With your permission, Eduspal sends push notifications about schedules, assignments and school activity. You can turn them off in the app or your device settings. We may also send essential service messages, such as one-time codes and important account notices.
8. Fees
Eduspal is currently free to use. We may introduce paid plans or features in the future. If we do, we will tell you the price and terms before you are charged, and you can choose whether to continue.
9. Our intellectual property
Eduspal, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to Ginimeg and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Eduspal in line with these terms. You may not copy, sell or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
10. Third-party services and app stores
Eduspal works with services from other companies, such as Google sign-in. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms.
If you downloaded Eduspal from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and Ginimeg, not Apple or Google, and Ginimeg alone is responsible for the app. The app store's own terms also apply to your download.
11. Changes and availability
We are always improving Eduspal and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep it available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using Eduspal at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@ginimeg.com (see our Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if required by law, or to protect other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why.
13. Disclaimers
Eduspal is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted or meet every need. Please keep your own copies of important records. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Ginimeg is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of Eduspal. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Eduspal in the 12 months before the claim, or ₦50,000 if you have paid nothing. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@ginimeg.com so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the courts of Nigeria will have jurisdiction. If you live outside Nigeria, you keep any protections and rights to bring claims locally that the law of your country gives you.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top, and if the changes are significant we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Eduspal after that, you accept the updated terms.
